I’m Anders.

About

I’m a product manager, designer and web developer from Denmark currently living in sunny Barcelona. I have co-founded a couple of startups and also invested in a few I found meaningful. For the past 5 years I have been on a quest to perfect my skills around designing, building and scaling tech products.

When I’m not designing or coding, I love spending time helping other people. In October 2016 I raised $10.000 for Multiple Sclerosis research and I always try to find a higher purpose with the challenges I undertake.

Interests

Product Design
Interested in user experience (UX) and user interfaces (UI). Fluent in Sketch and I believe that the difference lies in the details.

Web Development
I enjoy translating my designs into working code. I do both front-end (HTML, CSS, JS) and back-end development (Python, Flask, Ruby on Rails)

Product Management
At the intersection between UI, UX and technology you find product management. Don’t build a product because you can. Build it because it’s needed.

Artificial Intelligence
I wrote my Masters Thesis about artificial intelligence and the potential to improve the healthcare system in the UK. Nominated as ‘Thesis of the Year’.

Startups
I have been involved in startups since I was 18 and it’s an environment where I strive. It’s a unique opportunity to create value and making a difference.

Traveling
I have lived in Brisbane, Copenhagen, Glasgow, San Francisco and Barcelona. Love exploring the world and meeting new people to widen my world.

Achievements

Most Outstanding Student (University)
“He has been the most remarkable friend and student, and the IBP-programme should be proud of his kindness and contributions”

Most Outstanding Student (College)
I was awarded this prize among all graduating students by being a friend, an ambitious student and always open to help other people.

Nominated ‘Thesis of the Year’
Masters Thesis was nominated as ‘Thesis of the Year’ and was focused on how artificial intelligence can improve the healthcare system in the UK.

Ironman Finisher
In 2013 I finished Ironman Copenhagen and in 2015 I did it again in Spain. I’m driven my challenging myself and my beliefs.

Raised $10.000 for MS
In October 2016 I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis research. I singlehandedly raised $10.000 in 3 months.

Talent of the Year
In 2009 I was awarded ‘Talent of the Year’ among hundreds of sales employees in TeliaSonera, which was given based on hard work, dedication & attitude.
